Openbill & Black-headed Ibis | at Seruwawila, SriLanka

Hello everybody, I saw this Openbill and Black-headed Ibis in an old paddy field at Seruwawila, Sri Lanka. They are lookind for breakfast. Openbill found a crab and it tried to open crab's shell. Enjoy the video and bird sounds :-)

On the way to Seruwawila

Seruwawila is one of oldest Buddhists' holy places in Sri Lanka. Seruwawila Rajamaha Viharaya is located in Trincomalee district, Eastern province. It's about 275 km far from Colombo.
On our way to Seruwawila we could see so many birds. You will be able to see birds as soon as you pass Kanthale. We got the chance to see many storks and eagles at the Kanthale Tank. And buffaloes too.

Advantages of Travelling

                   Simply, travelling is the movement of people between two geographical places. Travelling has many advantages. People enjoy travelling. It’s a good way to relax our soul. Travelling gives us a lot of experience.  It takes us to beautiful places. Some people like to learn about the past. They visit historically important places. Some like to see the nature. Nature lovers visit natural places such as forests, mountains, waterfalls. They enjoy themselves in beautiful green forests among trees, streams. Some likes misty mountains while some likes golden beaches. Some people travel for observe wildlife. They visit forests, savannas, lagoons and watch wild animals and beautiful birds. There are some others travel to just be relaxed.
